Josef Schwab started being a German Shepherd Breeder in a small town by Stuttgart, Germany in 1980. This hobby started to become a great passion for him, and he added more and more high quality German Shepherds, to his little breeding program.

Josef Schwab's granddaughter Jennifer, what also was born and raised on his little farm started to become a German Shepherd breeder in 1996. 

 

Both Josef and his granddaughter Jennifer were concentrating in producing healthy and gorgeous looking German Shepherd puppies.

 

When Jennifer immigrated to the United States she brought some of her favorite dogs with her and became a well known German Shepherd breeder in South Florida. 

 

After 39 years, South Florida Shepherds is still a popular hobby breeder. All their German Shepherd puppies are growing up inside the house and are a part of Jennifer's family. They are around young children, cats and smaller dogs to make sure they will acclimate well with any kind of household.

 

All of their adult German Shepherds are carefully hand selected in Germany and other parts of Europe and only bred to bring the finest quality puppies for companionship all the way to IPO/HOME PROTECTION/K-9 Units. We specialize in placing the right dog in the right home!

 

A lot of genetic study and health testing goes into our breeding’s before (!) a breeding takes place. 

 

Our top quality German Shepherd puppies are raised with their mom inside our house, were they are a part of our family. They are getting introduced to young children, smaller dogs, TV, vacuum and other common household noises.

The other adult German Shepherd dogs are held on another property, a nice big clean farm near Orlando FL, where they have plenty of space to run around and enjoy their life's, while waiting for their next breeding or preparation for a dog show / competition.

We are a Miami-Dade licensed "Hobby Breeder" and not a "Pet Dealer" or "Kennel"

Since January 2020 South Florida German Shepherds LLC works closely with another breeder in New York. Due to this wonderful expansion into another state, our logo shows USA German Shepherds. We try to avoid the idea, that we exclusively serve South Florida.

 

However, we still will go on doing business as South Florida German Shepherds LLC and each individual hobby breeder is responsible for his own health guarantees and licenses.
